Chinese Studies
An interdisciplinary minor in Chinese Studies gives students an opportunity to gain knowledge of the Chinese people and their culture in an international context.
With coursework selected from several departments, the program provides a broad understanding of a nation and culture of great and growing significance to world affairs.
To complete the minor, students must earn a minimum of 23 semester hours, distributed as follows:
Prerequisites (0-14 hours)
- Chinese 202 and all necessary prerequisites to demonstrate a level of language proficiency. The Chinese faculty will determine appropriate course placement.
